Job Description
- The primary role for this position involves staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and algorithms in data analytics and ensuring their implementation by delivery teams. You will lead internal research efforts to explore new and innovative analytics methodologies. Your active participation will be required in all phases of delivering solutions to clients. In addition to the primary role, you will also be responsible for mentoring junior staff members. To excel in this role, you should be an expert in two or more of the following areas: Machine learning, Operations research, Agent-based modeling, game theory, statistics, or similar methodologies. You should also have strong experience with at least one of the following software packages: R, Matlab, SAS, SPSS, or similar tools. Additionally, a basic understanding of one of the following programming languages is necessary: Python, C/C++, Java. Preferred skills for this position include experience in analyzing real business data and domain knowledge of industry verticals like healthcare or telecom. The ideal candidate will hold a PhD or MS degree (with peer-reviewed publications) in a quantitative field such as Physics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related disciplines.
