Job Description

Key Purpose Of The Role:

The Business Analyst - Biocarbon Business will be responsible for supporting both internal and external users in maximizing their engagement with the BiofuelCircle platform. This includes resolving user queries, troubleshooting platform-related issues, ensuring smooth operational workflows, and enabling effective execution of tasks through the platform. The role plays a crucial part in enhancing user experience, ensuring business continuity, and driving the platform s effectiveness in delivering sustainable bioenergy solutions.

Key Tasks:

Key Responsibilities Market & Competition Analysis

Conduct industry research on carbon markets, competitor strategies, and sustainability trends

Generate insights to support strategic planning and business development

Data Analysis & Reporting

Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to carbon credits, environmental initiatives, and financial performance

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work cross-functionally with New Market Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and Project Management teams

Align business strategies with project outcomes

Financial Modelling

Build financial models and perform sensitivity analysis for carbon offset and credit-related projects

Assess investment opportunities and evaluate project viability

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure compliance with global and national carbon standards and certification frameworks

Technology & Innovation

Support digital transformation initiatives, including blockchain-based carbon tracking and AI-driven analytics

Ideal Candidate Profile Professional Experience

Experience in sustainability, carbon markets, biocarbon, NBS (Nature-Based Solutions), or biomass-based businesses

Proficiency in developing project financial models and conducting scenario analysis

Core Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Exposure to industrial technology and project development is a plus

Travelling Requirements Minimal
