The Role
Were looking for expert in Advanced NetApp L3 level support, CVO ONTAP, ITIL processes (Change Management, Problem Management) and experience in implementing automation. The role requires advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to optimize NAS systems for high-performance operations.
Job Title: Senior Commvault Backup Engineer
Location: Onsite Hyderabad
Shift: 24/7 Rotational Night shift
- 10 years in IT experience with Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with Commvault Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Provide L3 support for Commvault infrastructure (CommServe, Media Agents, clients, storage)
- Hands of experience in Automate backup workflows using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Strong experience in Set up and manage Commvault LiveSync and disaster recovery configurations
- Configure and support backups for Oracle, SQL, SAP, Exchange, NAS/NDMP
- Strong experience in Managing deduplication, storage policies, auxiliary copies, and SLA-driven jobs
- Lead and support data recovery and migration projects (platform and storage upgrades)
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex backup/restore failures with root cause analysis
- Perform Commvault upgrades, patching, and maintenance
- Work with network, storage, and system teams for end-to-end performance tuning
