Job Description
Key Purpose of the Role :
Quality Assurance Testing with a functional business perspective, taking pride in delivering the platform with outstanding quality
Roles & Responsibility:
- Partner with Development leads, Architects, Delivery & Support teams to ensure that platform software is tested & delivered to the highest quality.
- Bring business context to the QA testing of Platform.
- Create Test Plans and Scenarios for rapidly evolving platform features.
- Be embedded in the entire product development lifecycle, from design, documentation to roll-out, to ensure that new enhancements provide the require functionality without impacting current features.
- Create test automation and leverage modern technologies to speed up quality assessment.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Prior work experience in Functional QA roles
- Having worked in a start-up environment or small to mid-sized companies is desirable but not mandatory
- Knowledge on Industry standard Testing Processes & Methodologies
- Quick learner, who can work under pressure of tight deadlines, who thinks defect prevention over defect identification
- Qualification: Graduate / Engineering degree in Computer Sciences/ Computer Applications
- Strong verbal & written communication
- Ability to work across cross-functional & remote teams
- Ability to handle difference of opinion
- Self-motivated, creative thinker who takes ownership & accountability
