Job Description
- Develop and implement delivery schedules based on platform transactions.
- Provide operational plans to platform participants based on material availability.
- Conduct monthly, weekly, and daily planning of deliveries.
- Ensure data completion for platform deliveries.
- Handle escalations related to non-compliance of transactions.
- Manage dispatch schedules and allocate transporters.
- Support market participants with operational issues on the platform.
- Prepare and manage reports and MIS as required.
- Lead operational improvements across the supply chain logistics function.
- Conduct internal audits to maintain a smooth workflow process.
- Develop a network of transport and logistics partners or manage an optimized in-house fleet.
General Background
- Experience in material planning, supply chain management, or logistics.
- Previous employment in large Indian or multinational companies, boiler manufacturing, biofuels, or biomass sectors.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics management.
- Expertise in deliveries planning, material receipt, dispatch planning, and the transport industry.
- Ability to communicate effectively with plant managers.
- Strong written and presentation skills.
- Assertive and friendly interpersonal traits.
- Performance-focused leadership qualities.
