Job Description
- Analyze transportation routes and transport options to develop a cost-effective distribution network.
- Source, rent, lease-hire, and manage logistics infrastructure such as trucks, trolleys, tractors, and material handling technology.
- Implement and integrate tracking technology to monitor logistics movements on the BiofuelCircle platform.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant safety, environmental, and customs regulations related to logistics infrastructure.
- Manage logistics infrastructure budgets, including cost control and vendor negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including operations teams, technology teams, commercial teams, and regulatory bodies, to align logistics infrastructure with platform processes.
General Background
- Preference for candidates with experience in dealing with logistics stakeholders such as fleet operators, owner-driver vehicles, and truck manufacturing companies.
- Experience in data-driven organizations such as platforms or business publications.
- Thorough understanding of supply chain principles, transportation modes, and routes.
- Ability to analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies in logistics infrastructure.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and creating data-driven action plans.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and various levels within customer organizations.
- Self-motivated, creative thinker who takes ownership and accountability.
