Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled KDB+ Developer to join a leading global investment banks market data and trading technology team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain real-time and historical data systems using KDB+/q.
  
• Work with Traders, Quants, and Analysts to build scalable solutions.
  
• Handle tick data, build and support ticker plant architecture.
  
• Collaborate across technology and business teams (FX, IRD, Fixed Income).
  
• Optimize and debug high-performance systems in a multi-tier architecture.
  

Must-Have Skills:

• 6+ years of experience with KDB+/q programming
  
• Strong experience with Ticker Plant Architecture
  
• Experience with RDB, HDB, WDB concepts
  
• Understanding of FX, IRDs, and Fixed Income products
  
• Exposure to tick market data and real-time data systems
  
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  

Good to Have:

• Programming experience in Python, Java, or C++
  
• Experience with PyKX or interoperability between KDB and other languages
  
• Exposure to surveillance models or market abuse detection tools.
