Products:

  • Biomass pellets (Solid Bio Fuel) and
  • Pellet based equipments including Biomass pellet Cook stoves & Biomass Pellet Burners for commercial & industrial heating requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts for assigned zone in conjunction with pan-India sales strategy.
  • Strengthening the distribution network infrastructure of distributors for assigned zone.
  • Set targets, performance plans for assigned zone.
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities in assigned zone.
  • Oversees the budget for assigned zone.
  • Monitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trends in assigned zone.
  • Co-ordinate with NSM for preparing annual budget and business plan for the zone.
  • Lead assigned zone sales team members to achieve sales targets.
  • Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
  • Analyze sales data on sales results and develop plans to address performance gaps.
  • Track sales team metrics and share them with National Sales Manager.
  • Guide TSMs to achieve business KPIs and coach them to take on larger responsibilities.
  • Monitoring the strategy implementation by the field force.
  • Engage with the Top Customers & Distributors in the Zone.
  • Identify the critical/burning issues of the Zone affecting sales & take remedial action/ escalate wherever needed.
  • Identify & effectively implement Major and Key initiatives at zonal level in the areas of Market Development, Distribution expansion & Sales Operation.
  • Act as mentor and coach to support zonal sales team.
  • Effectively lead and manage zonal teams comprising of TSMs, FSOs motivation, training development and productivity enhancement.

Required Candidate profile

  • Should have territory knowledge & have proven work experience as a Zonal Sales Manager. Have experience of managing more than 2 states & big sales team.
  • Persons from working experience in industries like Biomass Pellet, Cook stoves, Diesel Burners, Industrial heating equipment, Consumer Durable products, commercial / industrial equipment.
  • Should have excellent Planning, analytical & Management Skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation skills & good command on English language.
  • Well groomed, presentable
  • Result oriented, self driven, self motivated sales person.
