Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on JavaScript/TypeScript/React, you will be a key member of our development team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining TV SDKs. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with a passion for clean code, robust architecture, and staying current with the latest web development trends.
Responsibilities
- SDK Development: Design, develop, and maintain JavaScript-based SDKs for integration with Smart TV platforms (e.g., Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android TV , Roku, etc.).
- Documentation: Create clear and comprehensive documentation for the SDKs, including installation guides, usage instructions, and best practices for developers.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and compatibility tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the SDKs across various Smart TV platforms.
- Version Management and Updates: Manage version control and maintain backward compatibility while releasing updates and new versions of the SDKs.
- Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to the SDKs, working closely with support teams to troubleshoot and fix customer-reported problems.
- Stay Current with Smart TV Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Smart TV platforms, APIs, and technologies, and actively incorporate relevant advancements into the SDKs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on JavaScript, TypeScript, and React with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript and a deep understanding of the React ecosystem.
- Experience working with Smart TV platforms and their development tools and SDKs (Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android TV , Roku, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues on Smart TV platforms.
- Proficiency in using version control systems, especially Git.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A passion for creating innovative solutions for Smart TV platforms and a drive to stay informed about industry trends.
