Senior API Tester @ Uplers

Must have skills required:
Scrum, API Testing, Postman, REST Assured, Soap UI, Selenium Leegality is Looking for:

Responsibilities:

• Working with product design with our full-stack team of developers and a product manager.
• Preparing test scenarios and feature acceptance criteria.
• Writing automation tests for backend APIs.
• Documenting test processes and results.

Requirement:

• 1-5 years of experience in the testing API Testing.
• Knowledge in REST API Testing and automation and exposure to tools like SOAP UI, Postman or Rest Assured.
• Demonstrated experience in testing REST APIs using Postman or a similar tool. Strong experience with API testing (REST API)
• Proficiency in, at least one programming language ( Java, Python)
• Hands on experience in various tools like Postman, Swagger, Rest assured, Jmeter, load runner.
• Experience in Scrum - agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes (CI/CD Pipeline).
• Responsible for understanding, designing, and writing test scenarios and test cases; updating test cases based on the requirement changes.
• Ability to design and code complex test cases and to code (or contribute code to) frameworks which simplify test development and automation
• Selenium or other automated system testing tools.
• Experience of writing high-level test plans or QA strategy documents.
• An Understanding of what the QA function looks like when looking at Micro-services, Continuous Integration and Continuous deployment.
• Good knowledge on Agile methodologies and experience working in scrum teams.

Preferences:

• Start-up experience is good to have.
• Willing to join immediately ideally.
