Job Description
Expected Notice Period: 30 DaysShift: (GMT+05:30) Asia/Kolkata (IST)
Opportunity Type: Remote What do you need for this opportunityMust have skills required:
Scrum, API Testing, REST Assured, Postman, SoapUI, Selenium
Responsibilities:
- Working with product design with our full-stack team of developers and a product manager.
- Preparing test scenarios and feature acceptance criteria.
- Writing automation tests for backend APIs.
- Documenting test processes and results.
Requirement:
- 1-5 years of experience in the testing API Testing.
- Knowledge in REST API Testing and automation and exposure to tools like SOAP UI, Postman or Rest Assured.
- Demonstrated experience in testing REST APIs using Postman or a similar tool. Strong experience with API testing (REST API)
- Proficiency in, at least one programming language ( Java, Python)
- Hands on experience in various tools like Postman, Swagger, Rest assured, Jmeter, load runner.
- Experience in Scrum - agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes (CI/CD Pipeline).
- Responsible for understanding, designing, and writing test scenarios and test cases; updating test cases based on the requirement changes.
- Ability to design and code complex test cases and to code (or contribute code to) frameworks which simplify test development and automation
- Selenium or other automated system testing tools.
- Experience of writing high-level test plans or QA strategy documents.
- An Understanding of what the QA function looks like when looking at Micro-services, Continuous Integration and Continuous deployment.
- Good knowledge on Agile methodologies and experience working in scrum teams.
Preferences:
- Start-up experience is good to have.
- Willing to join immediately ideally.
