Job Description

1. Role Purpose:-

CIVICA India is seeking a creative and self-motivated Senior Software Engineer (SSE) - Dev Ops with considerable exposure to multiple technologies and platforms & who is keen to join a multi-cultural software company.

2.Key Responsibilities and Duties:-

• Automating and orchestrating builds and deployments across multiple target environments (cloud and on-premises)
• Supporting and maintaining Azure DevOps installation
• Azure VM Setup and configuration
• Infrastructure automation (using tools like terraform, chef, puppet etc.) - planning, testing and development
• Supporting various development workflows
• Networking and firewall configuration
• Proxy server configurations
• Deploying product on various environment.

3. Education:-

First class and above grade in BE/BTECH/MCA equivalent degree from a university of UGC accreted.

4. Essential Competencies:-

• Fluent in spoken English and able to take part in meetings and discussions
• Proactive personality and able to work autonomously
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Good team player, ability to work to agreed deadlines
• Ability to work at detailed and abstract levels
• Ability to guide junior team members.
• Self-learner
• Track record of delivering commitments on time and quality

5. Skills:-

- Mandatory:

• knowledge and understanding of Visual Studio
• Scripting language (Power Shell etc.,)
• Experience with Azure Cloud computing and Azure DevOps (VSTS)
• Windows Server & IIS
• source control (git)
• experience in developing CI/CD workflows
• Docker containers, Kubernetes
• Network design principles and implementation, inc TCP/IP, traffic routing, DNS, VLAN etc

- Beneficial:-

• Experience with at least one of the following tools: Terraform /chef /puppet / ansible / vagrant
• basic Linux skills
• java (web apps)
