Job Description
Designation - Assistant Vice President
Job location - Mumbai / Chennai / Pune / Remote
Role -
As Practice Head of GBS (Global Business Services), he/ she will be responsible for building solution offerings in this space with a particular focus on Enterprise functions like Finance & Accounting, HRO and Supply Chain operations. This practice will also be evangelizing our offerings to Global Capability Centers (GCC) that largely cater to the above mentioned Enterprise Functions. This is a critical role as it is integral to the organizations growth trajectory.
Responsibilities -
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to promote and evangelize the Global Capability Center's Presales & Solutions offerings within Enterprise Functions with a particular focus on Finance & Accounting, HRO and Supply Chain, with F&A being the primary.
- Lead and mentor a team of Presales & Solutions professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure they deliver high-quality solutions that meet client requirements and exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, delivery, and subject matter experts, to understand client needs, identify opportunities, and develop innovative and tailored solutions that address their unique challenges.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices within the Finance & Accounting domain, ensuring that the Global Capability Center remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and solution demonstrations to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition and differentiating factors of the Global Capability Center's offerings.
- Manage the end-to-end presales process, including requirements gathering, solution design, pricing, and contract negotiations, ensuring successful client acquisition and seamless transition to delivery teams.
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, such as whitepapers, case studies, and industry reports, positioning the Global Capability Center as a subject matter expert in the Finance & Accounting domain and other Enterprise functions like HRO and Supply Chain
- Foster strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their continued satisfaction and exploring opportunities for growth and expansion of services.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and forums to represent the Global Capability Center and share insights on best practices and emerging trends within the Finance & Accounting domain as primary.
- Collaborate with the transformation team to provide valuable insights and feedback based on client interactions, contributing to the enhancement of existing solutions and the development of new offerings with AI.
Criteria's -
- Postgraduate
- Proven experience in a Presales & Solutions role within the Finance & Accounting domain primarily, with a deep understanding of industry best practices, trends, and challenges
- Understanding of other Enterprise functions like HRO and Supply Chain will be an added advantage
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify client needs, develop innovative solutions, and drive successful outcomes.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide teams, foster collaboration, and drive results.
- Experience in developing thought leadership content, such as whitepapers, case studies, and industry reports.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and their potential applications within the Finance & Accounting domain.
