Job Description

The role is for a position within e-Trading technology, for a software developer on JUNO platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality software on timescales in a challenging environment. The successful candidate will be required to become proficient in the tools and methods of the team in a short span of time. The person will be expected to make an ongoing contribution to development and maintenance of applications and quickly understand new products and features getting implemented.

Responsibilities

• The candidate will work closely with the LOB and other stakeholders and needs to be hands-on and be able to perform within a busy environment.
• Understand new products and features from LOBbusiness.
• Responsible for application development using Java, JavaScript, JSP, Spring Framework and SQL Server and level 3 support.
• Ability to analyze, design, develop and troubleshoot new and existing applications.
• Learning new technologies and framework
• Optimize and tune existing modules for better performance.
• Collaborate with QAASD teams for deliverables

Requirements

• Education : B.E.B. Tech., MSC (CS) from IITsBITSother top colleges
• Certifications : If Any
• Experience Range : 4 Years - 6.5 yrs

Mandatory skills :

• Experience on core Java, JavaScript, AJAX, JSP Servlet, Spring Framework,
• Microsoft SQL Server, Messaging (JMS, Tibco), Basic Unix commands

Desired skills :

• Must have a very strong work ethic and be a team player
• Demonstrated ability to perform in a time pressured environment
• Excellent troubleshooting Production issues and identifying Root Cause Prevention
• Candidates should be a quick learner and have the ability and drive to understand in-house and third party technologies
• Knowledge of Fixed Income domain
• Demonstrable knowledge in Java, JavaScript, AJAX, JSP Servlet, Spring Framework, Microsoft SQL Server, Messaging (JMS, Tibco), Basic Unix commands
• Excellent knowledge in Java Web technologies
