Job Opening for IT Service Engineer @ Team Ace

Job Description

• Experience with Windows/Linux OS environments, installations and maintaining on-premise/remote Datacenter and perform proactive preventive maintenance
  
• Hands on experience in monitoring tools like Zabbix, Nagios
  
• Helpdesk experience in tools like Jira/Kayako
  
• Installation and configuration of software/application. Hands on experience in MySQL/MSSQL
  
• Create a backup and recovery policy. Perform and restoration of Backups
  
• Manage & Monitor network
  
• Monitor server event logs, performance logs, growth of data on the network, and checking the statuses
  
• Update system as soon as new version of OS and application software comes out. Patch Management, SOP preparation on applied fixes
  
• Setup security policies for users. A sysadmin must have a strong grasp of computer security (e.g. firewalls and intrusion detection systems)
  
• Maintain IT Asset/servers inventory
  
• Establish service level agreements with end users.
  
• Experience on Cloud/Virtualization is plus
  
• Experience on Active directory, firewalls, routers
  
• Experience in IT Service Management, ITIL
  
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain protocol and processes with team and management.
  
• Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
