Job Description
The job involves overseeing the development, maintenance, and upgrading of the organization's web-based platforms, ensuring functionality, performance, and security. The role involves backend coordination, issue resolution, and liaising with content and technical teams to ensure alignment with user experience standards and institutional goals
.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the job include the following:
(i) Web/IT based Operations: Procurement of IT solutions; oversee the day-to-day functioning of the organization's websites and web-based platforms, including monitoring updates, supervising content integration, and ensuring performance optimization.
(ii) Content & Multimedia Integration: Coordinate with content and design teams to ensure timely uploading and proper formatting of text, images, videos, and documents in line with institutional standards.
(iii) Technical Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Supervise backend operations to ensure smooth functionality, manage downtime resolution, and oversee software/plugin updates and basic technical fixes through the appropriate teams.
(iv) Documentation & Configuration Management: Maintain comprehensive records of system architecture, update history, configuration settings, and version changes for internal control and audit readiness.
(v) Vendor & Technical Support Coordination Liaise with external vendors and IT support teams to resolve server-side and other technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.

(iv) Lifecycle management in overseeing website development, hosting, operations, and periodic upgradation,
(v) Skills in SEO and performance monitoring tools, Desirable
(i) Experience in procurement, monitoring development, and managing websites post go-live,
(ii) Experience in ensuring user interface (UI) principles, responsive design, optimal performance, and usability across various devices and screen sizes.
(iii) Experience in managing e-learning platforms, digital publishing tools, intranet systems, or other web-based applications commonly used in institutional environments.
