Location: Chennai (Local candidates preferred)
Experience: 24+ Years
Job Type: Full-Time | 5 Days a Week | Work from Office / Hybrid
Salary: 10-12 LPA (Based on interview evaluation)
Joining: Immediate or within 10-15 days

Company Overview:

We are hiring for one of our reputed clients in the Information Services domain, seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join their growing technology team in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Selenium

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure software quality

• Create test strategies and execute test cases for web and cloud-based applications

• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

• Conduct regression, exploratory, smoke, and performance testing

• Test applications hosted on AWS and Azure environments

• Document bugs and work collaboratively to ensure timely fixes

• Analyze test results and generate test reports and QA metrics

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, BCA, Engineering, or related field

• 24 years of experience in QA/test automation

• Proficiency in Selenium and Cypress

• Hands-on knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure (Preferred)

• Experience with REST API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Fluency in English and Hindi (mandatory)

Additional Details:

• This is a full-time role requiring presence at the office (hybrid flexibility based on project needs)

• Only candidates currently based in Chennai will be considered
