Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and Java coding principles
- 4-5 years of hands on experience as an Android Developer
- Extensive knowledge of Java/C++/C and the Android SDK
- Experience in the full lifecycle of both online and offline Apps
- Strong problem solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
- Experience in building scalable and highly available distributed systems
- Expert in breaking down problems and estimate time for development tasks
- Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
- Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
- Playing a lead role in the design and development of our tablet and mobile applications
- Experience interfacing with REST APIs and JSON
- Good understanding of development for memory- and performance-limited devices in a multi-threaded environment
- Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Experience with multi-threading, memory management and caching mechanisms specific to mobile devices.
- Passion for analyzing and improving run-time efficiency and memory footprint.
- Knowledge of software development best practices including continuous integration, development of high quality code, reusable toolkits and libraries
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle(Design to Deployment)
- Team-oriented individual, positive attitude, energetic, result & delivery oriented, keen interest on quality and attention to detail
- Good understanding of how backend is built
- Investigating and resolving application issues, bottlenecks and inefficiencies
- Identifying and resolving compatibility issues between the wide range of Android versions and devices
- Experience working with Android Studio
- Deliver high quality work on tight schedules
- SQL Server Basic Programming
- Working with SVN/GitHub source control
- Experience in JIRA and/or other Agile tools
- Knowledge on IOS Development
- Experience in .NET/C#
