Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the production of stainless-steel furniture. This role Should have a strong background in metal fabrication, production management, and team leadership.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule production to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Yield Improvement & wastage reduction
- Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to ensure accurate order fulfilment.
- Oversee the production process, including cutting, welding, grinding, and polishing.
- Ensure optimal production efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure high-quality products.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections.
- Lead and manage a team of production staff, including welders, grinders, and polishers.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting employee engagement and development.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in metal fabrication, production management, or a related field.
- Certifications: Welding certifications or equivalent experience.
Skills:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes, including welding, grinding, and polishing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Industry Experience: Experience working in the stainless-steel furniture industry.
- Software Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP software, such as SAP or similar.
