Qualification B.E./Diploma/BSc Full Time (CSC and ECE). No gaps in
Academics and No Distant Learning.
Certifications Required if ANY Azure Certification on MSSQL
Budget 9 LPA
Mandatory Requirement (If Any)

Role Purpose
Database Management Services for enhancing the service quality to their business users.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
MUST Have:
1) MS-SQL and working Knowledge of POSTGRESQL Administration and Management
2) MS-SQL Cluster Configuration and Management
3) Replication configuration between DC-DR in MS-SQL
4) Always-On Configuration and Troubleshooting Knowledge in MS-SQL
5) Configuration of Data Encryption
6) Tuning DB parameters
7) Hardening Parameters of MS-SQL/PostgreSQL.
8) Monitor generated log and event files for messages indicating errors that will result in an
incident
9) DR Database availability Monitoring
10) Report Status of Log Replications as per agreed schedules
11) Monitor the DB for failures and logged system events that indicate an imminent failure
12) Periodic config review to maintain consistent configurations
13) Review and recommendation to maintain availability
14) Monthly report on database availability
15) Monitor the DB for failures and logged system events that indicate an imminent failure.
16) Reinstall Database software
17) Reconfigure log Shipping
18) Responding to database related incidents and drive corrective action
19) Correlate related incidents together into a problem ticket and manage through the problem
management process
20) Use trend analysis to identify, detail, categorize, prioritize and create Problems Management
Records.
21) Restoration of database
22) Creating jobs/job schedule for routine/Maintenance jobs Rebuilding of indexes
23) Purging database Logs and trace files Performance Management
24) Defragmentation of Database and performance tuning
25) Manage all Service requests through the change management process
26) Automate administration tasks where possible
27) Manage and update all Database environment documentation
