Job Description

Medical Sciences
Position: Medical reviewer
Location:- Goa and Aurangabad
Reports To: Project Manager/Medical Affairs Lead
Supervises: None
Basic Function:
Performing medical review of literature references in accordance with Clients procedures and Standard Operating Procedures/regulatory guidelines for the purpose of product safety assessment
Principal Functional Responsibilities:
Performing medical review of literature references in accordance with Clients procedures and SOPs/regulatory guidelines for the purpose of product safety assessment including selection of literature articles relevant for inclusion in Periodic Benefit Risk Evaluation Reports (PBRERs), identification of potential signals and potential safety issues; and communication with the Clients Product Responsible Person (PRP)
Providing summaries of relevant literature references for PBRERs Responding to internal medical queries from the literature reviewers
Recognizing potential issues and interacting with internal or external contacts to resolve issues

Qualifications
A degree in Western Medicine: MBBS with one year of clinical experience, and/or MD with good clinical and medical competence
Good knowledge of medical terminology
Fluency in written and spoken English
Computer proficiency, an ability to work with web-based applications, and familiarity with the Windows Operating System and the MS Office suite (Word/Excel/Power Point)
High level of flexibility and ability to (re)prioritize work
Typing and transcription accuracy
Attention to detail
Team player
Awareness of global culture .
