Job Description

About the Role:


We are looking for a dynamic, strategic, and execution-focused Zonal Manager to lead the Retail B2C Sales vertical for New Product - Customer Acquisition (NPU). You will manage and mentor a team of City Heads, ASMs, and RMs, drive revenue growth, and expand Petpoojas footprint in the retail segment through innovative product-led solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales & Revenue Growth:


  • Lead the sales effort to acquire new retail customers and penetrate deeper into the market.
  • Drive adoption of additional Petpooja products like Payroll, Purchase App, and Task.
  • Analyze market and competition to identify trends, growth areas, and key opportunities.

Leadership & Team Management:


  • Manage and guide City Heads, ASMs, and RMs to deliver on aggressive acquisition and revenue goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, capability training, and process audits.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, discipline, and outcomes.

Client Relationship Management:


  • Strengthen client relationships by acting as a trusted advisor and solution consultant.
  • Oversee resolution of key escalations and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new customers.
  • Promote long-term client retention through strong value delivery of Petpoojas VAS.

Strategy & Execution:


  • Design zonal-level execution plans to optimize productivity and maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
  • Refine sales playbooks based on data insights, team feedback, and market response.

Operational Excellence


  • Ensure 100% adoption of CRM tools and adherence to reporting protocols.
  • Maintain high levels of visibility and tracking on field operations using tech tools.
  • Submit structured sales reports and actionable insights to the leadership team.
