Role Description
- Automation Test Engineer are required to demonstrate a variety of both soft and hard skills. Some of the key abilities required for this role include:
- Identifying and designing business processes for automation
- Setting up, testing and monitoring automated workflows to ensure that business processes function at optimum efficiency without risk of error
- Monitoring and maintaining automation post-implementation and resolving any potential issues to ensure smooth business operations
- Producing process documentation in order to outline mistakes and successes and refine processes going forward
- Ensuring quality automation using Quality Assurance (QA) processes and prevent any potential bugs
Required Qualifications
- Strong background in, and at least 3+ years of working in QA Automation. Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Application, Information Technology
- Experience in API testing (using Postman or other tools) or API automation and exposer to latest testing tools like JMeter, Test case management tool etc.
- Experience with Databases, such as SQL and NoSQL
- Good understandings/hands on experience with continuous integration tools like ADO/JIRA etc. Strong working knowledge of testing fundamentals such as TDD & BDD
- Proficient working with SQL server Knowledge of Web technologies like HTTP, JS, CSS, SOAP, REST, should have experience in API Automation like REST API etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Moderate to strong programming skills in JS.
- Knowledge of Web technologies like HTTP, JS, CSS, SOAP, REST.
- Should be able to work independently and take ownership
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
