Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Collaborate with business areas within Asset Management to identify opportunities for enhancing commercial performance and operational efficiency using Analytics and Data Science.
- Engage with the Data Architecture function to ensure optimal data sources are used in your analytics and data science projects.
- Design and implement data engineering pipelines for data retrieval and transformation.
- Create insightful visualisations to share the findings from your analytical work with stakeholders.
- Develop Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning models to address different business problems ranging from client retention, risk monitoring, and global portfolio management tasks.
Act as a champion for data science, guiding business users and other analysts on analytical techniques, tools, and technologies.
Preferred candidate profile
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, R, and SQL programming languages.
- Knowledge of visualisation tools like Tableau (preferred), Qlik, or Power BI.
- Hands-on experience with Machine Learning using platforms like Jupyter Notebooks.
- Experience with cloud service providers like Google Cloud, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
- Strong analytical skills, with an ability to bring structure and clarity to poorly-defined problems.
- Stellar interpersonal skills, with an ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders.
