Job Description

NVH Engineer (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) 

Responsibilities: 

Perform in-depth analysis of noise, vibration, and harshness characteristics in vehicles using advanced measurement and simulation tools. 

Plan and executive testing procedures including modal analysis, acoustic measurements, and road load data acquisition in lab and field environments. 

Identify sources of unwanted noise and vibration and recommend design modifications to improve vehicle comfort, refinement, and acoustic performance. 

Collaborate with design, CAE, and manufacturing teams to integrate NVH solutions into vehicle architecture and components. 

Develop and validate counter measures such as damping materials, isolation mounts, and structural reinforcements. 

Document findings and present technical reports and recommendations to engineering and product development teams. 

Skills Required: 

Hands-on experience with NVH testing tools and software such as LMS Test. Lab, Brel & Kjr, and HEAD acoustics. 

Strong understanding of acoustics, structural dynamics, and vibration theory. 

Familiarity with automotive systems and components affecting NVH, such as powertrain, suspension, and body structure. 

Proficiency in data analysis, signal processing, and interpretation of frequency-domain results. 

Engineering degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Acoustics Engineering with specialization or experience in NVH.
