Job Description
Job Title: Oracle PCS / OPA / VBCS Developer
Job Type: Full-time / Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Oracle PCS (Process Cloud Service), OPA (Oracle Policy Automation), and VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service) Developer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing business process automation, decision management systems, and custom UI applications using Oracle s cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Design, develop, and configure business processes using Oracle Process Cloud Service (PCS) .
- Implement and manage business rules, assessments, and decision models using Oracle Policy Automation (OPA) .
- Develop custom web and mobile applications with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) to extend Oracle Cloud applications.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and process flows across Oracle PCS, OPA, and VBCS.
- Integration:
- Integrate Oracle PCS and VBCS with various Oracle Cloud modules (e.g., ERP, HCM) and external systems.
- Use REST and SOAP APIs to facilitate integration across applications and platforms.
- Collaborate with middleware and integration teams to ensure seamless data flow and system compatibility.
- Testing and Deployment:
- Perform unit and system testing to ensure business processes and policies function as expected.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Oracle PCS, OPA, and VBCS environments.
- Deploy applications into various environments (test, UAT, production), and support deployment activities.
- Maintenance and Support:
- Monitor and maintain PCS workflows, OPA rules, and VBCS applications to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
- Provide ongoing support for troubleshooting, performance tuning, and bug fixes.
- Collaborate with business users to optimize and enhance existing applications and workflows.
- Documentation:
- Document technical designs, integration points, and process configurations.
- Create user manuals and provide training to business users on using PCS/OPA/VBCS applications.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Oracle PCS and OPA development.
- 2+ years of experience working with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
- Strong experience with REST APIs, SOAP services, and Oracle Cloud architecture.
- Hands-on experience with BPMN 2.0, business rule management, and decision models.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud services and integration methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with business and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle Cloud certification in Process Automation, Policy Automation, or Visual Builder.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for orchestrating integrations.
- Understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS for custom development in VBCS.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in creating responsive applications using VBCS for mobile and web platforms.
