Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with expertise in both Java (Spring Boot) and Golang, to join our dynamic engineering team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend services powering modern applications, including APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java (Spring Boot) and Golang.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for internal and external consumers.
- Participate in system architecture design, database modeling, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with DevOps for deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
- Contribute to system reliability, observability, and incident resolution.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and frontend developers.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of hands-on development experience in Java (Spring Boot).
- 1+ years of experience with Golang (Go) in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Experience with relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Proficient with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux-based environments.
- Solid understanding of concurrency, goroutines (in Go), and multithreading (in Java).
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with GraphQL, gRPC, or event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of performance tuning, memory profiling, and troubleshooting in distributed systems.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for learning and exploring new technologies.
