Job Description

Position: NPD Engineer (New Product Development Engineer) 

Location: Faridabad 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Develop new products through practical knowledge of new product development processes. 2. Conduct tool trials on press machines to ensure efficient tooling and production processes. 
2. Utilize basic tool room knowledge to create fixtures, receiving gauges, and other tooling  required for production. 
3. Oversee press shop operations and ensure smooth functioning of machinery. 5. Apply fabrication knowledge to weld final products using welding fixtures. 6. Perform part layout inspection according to engineering drawings to ensure accuracy. 7. Demonstrate proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles. 
4. Create new parts according to engineering drawings and conduct step-by-step inspections to  ensure the production of accurate samples. 
5. Preferably possess knowledge of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Advanced  Product Quality Planning (APQP), and other quality management systems. 
6. Have basic knowledge of drawing interpretation, AutoCAD 2D/3D, and SolidWorks software. 

Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech) or equivalent Diploma in Mechanical  Engineering. 
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sheet metal and fabrication processes, including  press shop operations, welding, and assembly.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
