Production Engineer Battery

Job Title : Production Engineer Battery

Location : Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore

Experience : 0-3

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage theentire battery production process, including cell assembly, module integration, and pack testing.

Develop and implementstandard operating procedures (SOPs)to ensure consistent quality and safety in battery manufacturing.

Monitorproduction KPIssuch as yield, cycle time, and defect rates, and initiate corrective actions when targets are not met.

Collaborate with R&D and design teams tooptimize battery architecturefor manufacturability and performance.

Troubleshootequipment and process issuesin real-time to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production flow.

Ensure compliance withenvironmental and safety regulations, especially related to handling lithium-ion cells and hazardous materials.

Skills Required:

* Experience inbattery manufacturing, preferably in EV or energy storage sectors.

* Knowledge ofquality control systems, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.

* Familiarity withbattery chemistry, thermal management, and electrical testing.

* Stronganalytical and process optimization skills.

* Ability to work infast-paced, high-volume production environments.
