Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hardware IT Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The Hardware IT Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining hardware solutions to support our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware engineering, IT systems, and network infrastructure. Responsibilities Design and implement hardware solutions to meet the organization's IT infrastructure needs. Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and other IT hardware. Troubleshoot hardware issues and perform root cause analysis. Collaborate with software engineers and IT professionals to integrate hardware with software systems. Evaluate new hardware technologies and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements. Develop and. maintain documentation for hardware configurations, installation procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices for hardware systems. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as needed. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance activities. Work closely with vendors and suppliers to procure hardware components and equipment. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as a Hardware Engineer, IT Engineer, or similar role. Strong knowledge of computer hardware components, including servers, storage devices, and network equipment. Proficiency in hardware design and configuration. Experience with server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux) and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are a plus.
