Job Summary:Our team develops industry-leading data warehouse and decision support solutions and products for major health insurance companies across the United States.
We are looking a Senior Engineer Cloud Computing for a full time opportunity in our Gurgaon location.
Job Requirements :
Solid experience of implementing Big Data solutions in Microsoft Azure.
Experience of at least one MS-Bigdata project in Azure HDInsight Stack.
Ability to work on highly complex problems, through expert usage of standard concepts & principles requiring high levels of judgment & interpretation.
Can offer multiple solutions to problems through existing and new methodologies and then to determine most appropriate solution.
Able to design and validate solution architecture as per enterprise architecture.
Able to contribute various intellectual properties development and thoughtful leadership initiatives of the team and apply advance knowledge and experience to the development of new methods, programs and procedures.
Ability to question conventional approaches and responding to challenges with innovative solutions or services and should be able to benchmark systems, analyze system bottlenecks and propose solutions to eliminate them.
Expected to continue to build upon domain knowledge and technical skills to reach levels of industry acknowledgement.
Work with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Healthcare concepts and data experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to learn and quickly adapt to new technologies.
Strong organizational, communication skills and ability to work with multiple project streams.
Job Roles& Responsibilities:
Be able to provide technical leadership along with leading/mentoring junior developers.
Be able to benchmark systems, analyses system bottlenecks and propose solutions to eliminate them.
Be able to clearly articulate pros and cons of various technologies and platforms.
Be able to perform detailed analysis of problems and technical environments and in designing the solution.
Evaluate existing database and recommend improvements for performance efficiency.
Be able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Be able to work in a fast-paced agile development environment.
Skills:
Candidates must be team players with excellent interpersonal skills. This position requires the following minimum requirements:
Hand on technologies like Azure Data Factory, Data Lake Analytics, Data bricks, Azure Blob Storage.
Experience in Azure power shell scripting for deploying the Resources like Azure Storage, Hindsight cluster.
Experience is on HDInsight/Hortonworks (Pig, Hive, YARN, HBase), , Azure SQL DWH.
Needs to have a firm understanding of major programming/scripting languages like C#, Python, PySpark, USQL, Sql. As well as have experience in working with ETL tools.
Experience working in SQL Server 2016 and above.
Good understanding of database design for Data Warehouse and OLAP.
Good understanding of database security.
Experience in writing code in T-SQL (Stored Procedure, Functions, Triggers).
YouTrack, Upsource, TeamCity experience is a plus.
Education:
UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization
PG: Post Graduation Not Required, MCA - Computers, MS/M.Sc(Science) - Any Specialization
Doctorate: Doctorate Not Required
