Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Developer with expertise in Java, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our digital solutions team. You will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications and content management systems using modern cloud-native technologies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys building scalable digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java and AEM (Adobe Experience Manager).
- Build and customize AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations.
- Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product owners, and other developers to deliver rich user experiences.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Participate in technical architecture and design discussions.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with proper documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Follow Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Java development.
- 5+ years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x or Cloud Service).
- Practical knowledge of deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of AEM architecture, Sling, OSGi, JCR, and Sightly/HTL.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development, containers (Docker), and Kubernetes.
Preferred Skills:
- AEM certification is a plus.
- Experience with Google Cloud tools such as Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, BigQuery, or Firebase.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or Angular).
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud and web development.
