Position: Chemist Experience: 2-4 Years Specialization: Paint Formulation and Quality Control Location: Bangalore Rural Role Overview: As a Chemist specializing in Paint Formulation and Quality Control, you will play a key role in our manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include formulating paints, conducting quality control tests, and driving innovation and efficiency in our paint manufacturing processes. The Company has a technical collaboration, for the manufacture of specialized Industrial Coatings with Brillux Germany, which is one the largest paint companies in Germany having a turnover of almost Euro 600 million. Over the last 15+ years BPL has carved a niche in the field of project application in the B2B segment with Real Estate Developers and Builders. With the vast experience in manufacturing gained over the years, BPL, under its brand name MIRACLE, has undertaken large Supply and Apply contracts for painting works with leading Developers and Builders and have completed several million square feet of painting contracts on some of the iconic projects in Bangalore, Chennai and Pune. Website: www.miraclepaints.com Key Responsibilities: o Responsible for quality of the FG and RM as per specification and technical data sheet o Proper handling and up keeping of lab equipment o Involvement in new products development and technical support o Counter sample management o Safety and house keeping o Cooperation with other department and co-ordination o Proper documentation of all the lab activity, SOP management o Preparation of Test certificates for finished goods o Preparation of daily reports on number of batches approved, test certificate as compared to prescribe standard & entries in Tally o Calibration check lists, preventive maintenance check lists o Preparation of comparative reports against the competitor products, test results on quarterly basis o To take production of first two batches of new trials & new batches o Details of samples, tracking list of counter samples o Proper usage of PPE o Up keeping & Maintenance of work area and Lab equipment o To help Production during absenteeism of production staff/as per requirement o Maintain Counter samples, advance samples, standard samples & Production counter samples o Colour Matching o Following Standard Procedures for testing Qualifications and Skills: o Master's degree in Chemistry or related field, with further education being advantageous. o Minimum 2-4 years of Laboratory experience and Quality Control Chemist in the industry o Excellent documentation, written and verbal communication skills are essential; o Quality Control Chemist with a passion for ensuring product quality and safety.
