Job Description
This position is for a Full stack developer who will be responsible for the delivery of the key projects for the Funding and Finance IT (Company & Regulatory) team. The candidate will be responsible for development of new web based application framework and business applications using agile development methodology, with particular focus on a highly test driven approach and continuous integration.Funding and Finance IT (Company & Regulatory) team is a global organization providing technology solutions to regulatory and legal entity controllers across the regions. The team in Asia not only provides coverage for all the legal entities in the region, but also contributes to a series of global strategic initiatives. The team is client and business oriented. The primary focus is on delivery of outstanding solutions to our internal business clients. Skills Required:
- Good knowledge of Java/Scala
- Javascript based frameworks like Angular, JQuery
- Good understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Good understanding of REST services
- Good understanding of OOP, and design patterns
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of full software development life cycle
- Ability to communicate with the business unit sponsors effectively
- Ability to coordinate with various teams to deliver projects successfully
- Working knowledge of agile development practices including Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and SCRUM
- Good problem solving skills
Skills Desired:
- Experience using third party Javascript controls like ag-grid, hi-charts, etc.
- GIT Stash
- Jenkins
- Knowledge of Finance processes
