Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager- AWS Architect We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Architect -Manager with. expertise in data migration, data processing, and AWS services. As an AWS Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and efficient data migration solutions, as well as developing data processing applications using AWS Lambda's on Python. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of AWS services, hands-on experience with data migration scripts, and strong leadership and communication skills. Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of data migration strategies and solutions, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and data integrity. Develop data migration scripts and processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources to AWS data storage services. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and develop appropriate data processing solutions. Architect, design, and develop data processing applications using AWS Lambda's on Python. Utilize AWS services such as AWS Glue, AWS Step Functions, and AWS Batch to orchestrate data processing workflows. Optimize data processing performance and efficiency by fine-tuning code, leveraging serverless architecture, and utilizing caching and data partitioning techniques. Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards during data migration and processing activities. Provide technical guidance and support to development teams and stakeholders on AWS best practices for data migration and processing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including database administrators, software engineers, and data scientists, to integrate data migration and processing solutions into existing systems and applications. Stay up to date with the latest AWS services, features, and industry trends related to data migration and processing. Lead and mentor a team of AWS architects and developers, providing technical leadership and guidance. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Relevant years of experience in designing and implementing data migration and processing solutions, and sufficient hands-on experience in AWS architecture. Strong expertise in AWS services such as AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, AWS Step Functions, AWS Batch, and AWS RDS. Proficient in Python programming language and experience developing data migration scripts and data processing applications using AWS Lambda. Solid understanding of data migration methodologies, ETL processes, and data integration patterns. Experience with relational databases, including AWS RDS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.), and knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., AWS DynamoDB). Strong knowledge of data security, encryption, and compliance best practices in AWS. Demonstrated ability to architect and design scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions on AWS. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team of AWS architects and developers. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Preferred Qualifications AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty are highly desired.
