Hubnex Labs is at the forefront of building modern data platforms and scalable cloud-native applications for enterprises and high-growth startups. As we expand our data engineering team, we re looking for a seasoned Data Architect with deep expertise in Snowflake, DBT, and SQL-based modeling to drive architecture and best practices for our clients data infrastructure.
Role Overview As a Data Architect at Hubnex Labs, you will lead the design and development of cloud data warehouses, enable large-scale data migrations, and architect modern data transformation pipelines using Snowflake and DBT . This is a highly collaborative role requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on expertise.
Key Responsibilities - Architect scalable data platforms using Snowflake for enterprise-grade analytics and reporting.
- Lead and implement DBT -based data modeling workflows and transformation pipelines.
- Define and enforce best practices in SQL development , data quality, testing, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions.
- Guide Snowflake data migration strategies and ensure optimal warehouse design and cost efficiency.
- Version control models and workflows using Git and CI/CD tools.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing.
- 4-5 years of deep, hands-on experience with Snowflake (data warehouse architecture, performance tuning, optimization).
- 2+ years working directly with DBT (Data Build Tool) for transformation pipelines.
- Strong command over SQL and modern data modeling principles (star/snowflake schemas, normalization, denormalization).
- Experience with source control (e.g., Git), CI/CD workflows, and collaboration in agile teams.
- Understanding of cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and how Snowflake integrates with them.
- Strong communication skills and a solution-first mindset.
- 9+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture roles.
- Proven track record of leading Snowflake migration projects end-to-end.
- Experience building scalable data marts, data lakes , and orchestration frameworks.
- Familiarity with tools like Airflow , Fivetran , Looker , or Power BI is a plus.
