Job Description

: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in occupational health and safety, with a strong commitment to promoting and maintaining a safe work environment. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of work sites, facilities, and equipment to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Develop and implement safety programs, training, and initiatives to promote awareness and reduce the risk of accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses.
• Provide guidance and support to employees and management on safety-related issues, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including OSHA standards.
• Participate in safety committee meetings, toolbox talks, and other forums to communicate safety information and promote a safety-conscious culture.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety inspections, training, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Conduct emergency response drills and exercises to test and improve the effectiveness of emergency procedures.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices in occupational health and safety.
