We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager specializing in Interior Fitouts to join our dynamic team. As a Project Manager, you will oversee and manage various interior fitout projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered within budget, schedule, and quality parameters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, particularly in interior fitouts, and possess exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Role & responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage interior fitout projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to them throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, interior designers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and met.
- Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for the project.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control measures are implemented.
- Lead and motivate project teams, including internal staff and external stakeholders, to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members to ensure alignment and cohesion.
- Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and presentations to senior management and clients as required.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing interior fitout projects.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team.
- Resolve conflicts and issues that may arise during the project execution phase.
- Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in project management, specifically in interior fitouts within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques related to interior fitouts.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing construction projects.
- PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
