Power BI Architect / Data Architect with Azure @ Synergysparq

Job Description

-- Roles and Responsibilities

• Must have Strong Hands-on Experience in SQL
• Must have Strong knowledge in creating Power BI reports and use of different visualizations within Power BI and creating rich Power BI Dashboards and Reports
• Hands on experience on Azure Synapse and Data factory, Data Lakes, Data Mart
• Good experience in Data Mart, Data Lake and Azure SQL
• Strong experience in writing Complex SQL Queries and Must have worked with the following SQL functions:
• Group By Queries
• Windowing Function
• Union, Joins, Intersect, and Case Functions
• Date functions
• Nested CTE's
• Hand on knowledge of Power BI DAX and Power Query (M Language)
• Hand on knowledge of multiple DAX functions besides Sum, Divide, Count, MIN, MAX, and Average
• Should be able to explain the Power BI's Evaluation Context, Filter Context, and Row Context, and how they impact DAX calculations
• Understanding of Expanded Table in Power BI
• Knowledgeable about NoSQL Databases
• Good business acumen.

Preferred Skill

• Qualifications: Technical Bachelors/Master's degree
• 8+ years of experience in application development
• Knowledgeable about efficient SQL query writing
• Good experience on Azure Synapse and Data Facto
