Job Description
Role Name: AWS Solution Architect
Experience Range: 10+ years
Location Requirement:
Work-At-Home (but should be in any of these locations - Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai & Cochin). For security reasons, if client/project demands then you need to work from office.
Below are the roles and responsibilities:
- Design and architect cloud-native applications and solutions on AWS platform, considering scalability, performance, security, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and develop architecture diagrams and design documents.
- Evaluate existing application architectures, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to modernize and migrate applications to AWS cloud.
- Define AWS infrastructure as code using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform, enabling automated deployment and infrastructure management.
- Implement best practices for microservices architecture, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda), and API management (e.g., Amazon API Gateway).
- Configure and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, ECS, EKS, and IAM, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with Amazon Connect, including designing, building, and deploying solutions.
- Experience with integrating Amazon Connect with other systems, such as CRM, ERP, or custom databases. Developing AWS Lambda functions to interact with contact flows for dynamic data retrieval and processing.
- Implement security controls and compliance measures in accordance with industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS) and AWS security best practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, resource utilization, and cost efficiency using AWS monitoring and analytics tools (e.g., CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Trusted Advisor).
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams on AWS cloud architecture, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, innovations, and advancements in AWS cloud services and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience designing, building, and deploying applications on AWS cloud.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js, and experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps).
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, infrastructure components, networking, and security principles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, CloudFormation, and IAM.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), serverless computing, and microservices architecture.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- DevOps, CI/CD configuration and training dev team.
Mandatory Skills
- AWS Solution Architect Certified
Nice-to-have Skills
- Programming experience in Java/.Net/Python, etc.
- Amazon Connect experience
Mandatory Experience
- Working experience on AWS cloud, architecting highly available, scalable and fault tolerant architectural solutions for clients to help them migrate successfully from current infrastructure on premise to AWS cloud.
- Good experience hosting web applications on AWS Cloud utilizing cloud infrastructure and services.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience is working under agile development process.
- Experience in setting up DevOps, CI/CD pipeline and training dev team.
- Experience in migrating on-premises application to cloud
