Responsibilities -
Admin O365 + Intune + MDM
O365 & MS Exchange Support
- User and Group Management:
- Creating, managing, and deleting user mailboxes, and managing group memberships.
- Mailbox Management:
- Configuring mailbox settings, setting up archive and deletion policies, and managing mailbox permissions.
- Email Security:
- Implementing and managing anti-spam and anti-malware protection, and configuring security policies.
- Troubleshooting:
- Diagnosing and resolving email-related issues, including connectivity problems and message delivery failures.
- Collaboration:
- Working with other IT teams, HR, and compliance departments to ensure smooth email operations.
- Monitoring:
- Monitoring email flow, mailbox usage, and system performance.
- Compliance:
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies related to email and data retention.
- Documentation:
- Maintaining documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Staying Updated:
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest Exchange Online features and security best practices.
Intune Administrator :
- Intune Role Administrator: Assigns Intune permissions to other admins and manages custom and built-in Intune roles.
- Policy and Profile Manager: Manages compliance policies, configuration profiles, and Apple enrollment.
- Read Only Operator: Can view users, devices, enrollment details, and configurations.
- School Administrator: Manages Windows 10-11 and iOS devices, apps, and configurations in Intune for Education.
MDM Authority :
- Intune Standalone: Cloud-based management using the Microsoft Intune admin center.
- Co-management: Integration of Intune with Configuration Manager for Windows 10 devices.
- Mobile Device Management for Office 365: Integration of Office 365 with the Intune cloud solution.
- MDM Authority Selection: For new Intune accounts, the MDM authority is automatically set to Intune standalone.
