Job Description
- Design, build, and maintain BI dashboarding platforms based on Power BI and Qlik.
- Take ownership of the cloud infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency and reliability.
- Implement and manage networking and security measures to protect data, software, and hardware in the Azure environment.
- Support application teams with data analysis and help to develop data models to support business decision-making.
- Write and maintain programming scripts using Python and PowerShell to automate processes.
- Design, develop and deploy efficient automation framework for dashboard/ reports deployment pipeline on Power BI and Qlik Sense.
- Manage infrastructure solutions in the Azure environment, ensuring data is effectively stored, retrieved, and transformed for analysis and visualization.
- Follow and implement industry best practices for better time to market using latest CI/CD technologies and automate day-to-day tasks.
- Propose and take part in architectural discussions for the visualization platform.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in IT with a focus on cloud computing.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including Azure networking and security.
- Proficiency in BI dashboard creation using Power BI and Qlik.
- Experience in data analysis and data modeling.
- Programming skills in Python and PowerShell.
- Understanding of cloud storage solutions.
- Exposure to Database and Data warehousing concepts
- Ability to conceptualize business requirements and transition them into technical solution designs.
Required Skillset:
- Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security Services
- Administrator/developer of BI Dashboarding solutions (Power BI/ Qlik Sense)
- Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM, Azure Pipelines, Git, BitBucket, GitHub, etc)
- Programming skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Az CLI)
- Scripting for ETL (Extract Transform Load) with Python, PySpark, SAS, or another programming language (GUI based ETL or Data Integration do not qualify)
- Knowledge of Databricks, Azure SQL Databases, ADLS, Parquet files
