The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and models using AutoCAD and Tekla software for pre-engineered building projects. The role requires a thorough understanding of structural engineering principles, proficiency in CAD software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and project managers. Key Responsibilities: Drafting and Modeling: Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models of pre-engineered buildings using AutoCAD and Tekla software. Structural Analysis: Collaborate with structural engineers to ensure accurate representation of structural components and adherence to design specifications. Material Takeoff: Generate accurate material takeoff reports based on. drawings and models to facilitate procurement and construction planning. Quality Control: Review drawings and models to ensure compliance with project requirements, building codes, and industry standards. Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to address design issues, modifications, and project deadlines. Documentation: Maintain organized documentation of drawings, models, revisions, and project correspondence for future reference. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on advancements in CAD software, building technologies, and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and quality of work. Key Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
