Job Description

We are seeking a skilled individual to fill the role of Backend Developer, responsible for creating and managing backend services and applications using the Laravel framework and PHP. This is a remote position open to candidates located in India and Pakistan who possess strong English proficiency. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain backend services/applications utilizing the Laravel framework and PHP. Collaborate closely with frontend developers to seamlessly integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Participate actively in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability. Identify and address bottlenecks and performance issues within existing code. Deploy applications to the cloud and oversee their smooth operation. Quickly identify and troubleshoot production issues and bugs in real-time. Adhere to best practices to ensure a scalable and manageable codebase. Ideal Candidate: Excellent verbal English. communication and understanding At least 5 years of experience working in PHP and minimum 3 years of Laravel experience Should have recently worked on or concluded a project with Laravel 8,9 or 10 (requires reference) Strong logic and problem solving skills Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services, for deployment, troubleshooting and performance monitoring. Exhibits a strong understanding of design patterns and anti-patterns, effectively applying them in project development. Has contributed to open-source projects or public repositories on platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or BitBucket. Has experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL, including Laravel-specific model optimizations. Engages with other team members regularly to maximize productivity and prevent miscommunication pitfalls
