Job Description

Overview The Commercial Manager - Accounts plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects of the organization's commercial operations. They are responsible for managing and leading the accounting team, analyzing financial data, and contributing to strategic decision-making to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations Develop financial strategies to optimize the organization's commercial activities Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making Manage cash flow, credit, and collections to optimize working capital Negotiate and manage commercial contracts and agreements Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives Participate in financial audits and ensure adherence. to audit requirements Monitor and report on financial performance to senior management Identify and mitigate financial risks and opportunities Stay updated with accounting regulations and industry trends. This job role is accountable to cross check significant invoice details of both domestic and export sales in terms of quantity, unique vehicle number and weight dispatch details and amount in Rs., $USD; in line with statutory compliances for taxation, GST, TCS. Responsible to maintain stock of Raw material and Finished Goods on daily basis. Labour contractors Accounts Team HO QA/QC team Production Team Purchase team Logistics Team Knowledge Interpersonal skills People Management Conflict Management Process Contribution Process Outcome Performance Measure Export Sales Documents Authentification 1.1 Export Invoice to be checked in terms of party name, insurance, rate, commission, quantities, type of packing, exemption quantity w.r.t PFI 1.2 Cross check invoice prepared on the basis of proforma received from HO. 1.4 Providing approval for export checklist which is provided by CHA after checking all the details entered in checklist for each shipment. 1.3 Ensure all the required exporcedures are properly followed. Domestic Slaes Documents Authentification 2.1On receipt of ORDF ensure to check quantity, tracking of quantity, rate, PO number, GST, Net weight & Gross weight. 2.2 Prepare reports of daily Sales, Return sales. In coming Material Documentation 3.1 Maintain register daily RG 23 A Part-1 (Invoice Entry). For Base oils and packing material. 3.2 Prepare Input Tax Credit daily GST balance report 3.3 Submit GST balance report along with stock report on daily basis to CMD. 3.4 Submit GST register to HO accounts team daily. 3.5 maintaining dails sales report and receipt reports. Required Qualifications M.B.A in Finance, CA, CMA Relevant Experience 16+ years required Behavioural Skills Proven experience in a similar commercial accounting role Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis Excellent understanding of commercial contracts and negotiations Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting Experience with ERP systems and financial software Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proven leadership and team management abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements Adaptability and willingness to take initiative Knowledge Knowledge of Account Statutory Compliances Knowledge of Stores Knowledge of GST, Taxation Skills: accounting,financial analysis,team management,negotiation,forecasting,commercial contracts,decision-making,management,skills,compliance,regulations,organization,goods and services tax (gst),indian taxation
