Job Description

This position shall be responsible for overseeing and administering ERP technology and strategies, identifying technology and system enhancements that will improve business and support future business needs and to lead the ERP Team; for creation, implementation, optimization and effective functioning of various ERP modules and ensure timely and accurate completion of the projects to ensure utmost internal customer satisfaction. KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Planning and Budgeting Prepare an annual business plan for the IT ERP department in line with business requirements, in consultation with the CIO Translate business priorities and key initiatives into technology plans and develop IT ERP as a Business enabler Manage the financial aspects of the ERP Division, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review Project Management Identify, conceive, plan and execute the ERP projects as per requirements Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using. appropriate tools Monitor the preparation of various documents for obtaining clearances for the projects Ensure that the project is being implemented as per the budgeted cost Track progress and review project tasks to ensure deadlines are met appropriately ERP System Development Guide the team in the creation and development of new modules for the new entities Respond to queries on ERP within the defined timeframes and follow problem resolution procedures Ensure that periodic quality control reports are being tracked to identify discrepancies and missing data in the system Review design programs by analysing requirements of the customer production workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities Write the detailed specifications of the program/ codes and share the same with the vendors Review and administer the execution of the program/ code on the Server Implementation and Usage Drive ERP implementation in the organization and monitor the usage of ERP across the organization to ensure effectiveness of the system Partner with users across the organization to implement ERP interface needs and liaison with the SAP vendor for any interface or application design Direct the ERP functional leads for all ERP modules in effectively maintaining and updating the ERP systems for end users Lead the programming teams whether vendor based or inhouse, for supporting any programming requirements of the business Implement new initiatives / functionalities / modules in SAP for improved operating effectiveness Partner with HR for building SAP usage capability in the organization by way of providing regular SAP training across the organization Organize and conduct training sessions for the users on the ERP Modules and updation when required
