Type: Remote Role: Full Stack Engineering Lead Salary: Upto 42,00,000 (42 lakhs) per annum Rocketmonk Software is on a mission to solve problems for e-commerce merchants with simple but powerful applications & tools. The company builds and maintains 2 SaaS products for Shopify merchants: Back In Stock - Restock Rocket, Filemonk: Digital Downloads. Our business is scaling fast, and we are looking for a talented Full-Stack Engineering Lead who is proficient in Ruby on Rails as well as React.js. You'll be working closely with the founders on the app backend, interface and user experience to allow merchants to easily get value and insights from our platform. Our work is spread across both fronts of web development with interesting frontend (our apps integrate directly with Shopify's frontend through performant widgets) and backend (we have Rails backends for our apps that handle the business logic) projects. This is a remote job and as such will require diligence, initiative and most. importantly good communication. In this role, you will: Lead our small team of developers to break down and tackle development problems. Maintain and improve our apps React user interfaces and their experience Maintain and expand on our apps Rails backend and API Work with our Postgres database to derive insights for merchants and for our business Be proactive about using tech to improve the processes of your colleagues and our customers Help reduce existing tech debt and work around generating more. Youre a great fit if: You have great communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills in English You have some work experience with both Ruby on Rails and React.js You are a self starter and are able to manage your time well and projects without supervision You are familiar with the tools of the trade (GitHub, etc.) You have experience working on web products and SaaS You are open to receiving and giving feedback about work and the processes around it You understand that a product company is about providing value to customers You have worked in a remote development environment You are able to work with data to help guide the work you do Why you should join Rocketmonk Software: Work closely with experienced founders You want to learn and grow fast on the job Work remotely and from anywhere
