Job Description

The Role This position will be responsible for the review of all Procurement activities for Mapletree in India to ensure compliance to Group Procurement Policy & Procedures (GPPP) and SOPs. Job Responsibilities Provide guidance and support on reviewing procurement processes to ensure compliance to procurement policies and SOPs. Review purchase requisitions and requirements, tender documents, tender evaluations and analysis, to ensure procurement of materials and services are justified. Conduct quality checks on materials and services delivered by vendors. Review and update the approved vendor list periodically. Plan, schedule and monitor the procurement of term contracts and minor capital projects to ensure timely approval and award. Prepare reports and statistics for management review. Reinforce standards, process and templates that support the delivery of procurement activities, conduct periodic audits on the procurement process and documentation. Champion the. review and improvement of procurement processes, workflows and SOPs. Job Requirements Degree with at least 10 years of relevant experiences in pre and post tender procurement activities. Experiences in quantity surveying or involved in Addition and Alteration (A&A) work tenders (i.e. builders works or MEP services works) is required. Experience in evaluating procurement of green / clean energy services will be advantageous. Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience in using SAP Ariba and/or eProcurement system will be advantageous. Meticulous, resourceful and proactive to drive cost management, with good interpersonal and negotiation skills. Strong team player with the ability to build relationships to achieve successful results, to multi-task and prioritise work well. You should be well-versed in performing business process, policy and control reviews as well as accounting processes and with strong interest and sound knowledge of business operation processes, policies, risks and controls in an organisation.
