: We are seeking an experienced Senior Proprietary Trader with extensive knowledge and expertise in the Indian financial markets. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7+ years of proven track record in proprietary trading, demonstrating strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of market dynamics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and execute proprietary trading strategies tailored to Indian financial markets, including equities, derivatives, commodities, and currencies. 2. Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify trading opportunities, market trends, and potential risks. 3. Utilize quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques to assess market conditions, optimize trading algorithms, and enhance trading performance. 4. Monitor market developments, news, and economic indicators to make informed. trading decisions and capitalize on market inefficiencies. 5. Manage trading positions, risk exposure, and portfolio performance to achieve desired returns while adhering to risk management guidelines and regulatory requirements. 6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research analysts, quants, and developers, to develop and implement innovative trading strategies and technologies. 7. Stay updated with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in Indian financial markets to continuously improve trading strategies and performance. 8. Mentor junior traders and provide guidance on trading techniques, risk management, and market analysis. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., CMT, CFA) preferred. - NISM Series 8 derivative active certification. - Minimum 7+ years of experience in proprietary trading, with a focus on Indian financial markets. - Proven track record of successful trading performance and consistent profitability. - Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis, programming languages (e.g., Python, R), and trading software (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters). - Deep understanding of market microstructure, trading strategies, and risk management principles. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure, adapt to changing market conditions, and make quick, data-driven decisions.
