Summary Position Summary About the Role As an image retoucher, you are required to retouch images and be able to create masks and selections for assigned images. You are a professional who specializes in enhancing and manipulating digital photographs using software, primarily focusing on Adobe Photoshop. Your work plays a crucial role in various corporations. Responsibilities Image assessment: Analysing photographs to identify areas that require adjustments, such as image resizing, masking, product & skin retouching, background removal, colour balance, lighting adjustment and image composition, etc. Understand the client requirements: Ability to understand the clients requirement through SOP documents, markups documents, instructions through the email, etc. Expert software usage: Possessing in-depth knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and other retouching software, utilising various tools and techniques for precise and efficient editing. Masking: Ability to remove the product or. Model from the background using a path created by pen tool or using various masing techniques Colour correction and adjustments: Adjusting colour balance, contrast, exposure, and saturation to create aesthetically pleasing and consistent visuals. Retouching: Retouch both product and skin as per the SOP. Object manipulation: Adding or removing objects, background, and people from the image, seamlessly blending them for a realistic look. Meeting deadlines: Delivering high-quality retouched images within specified time limits. Artistic sensibility: Ability to understand and process the various colour profile request (both web and print) Experience / Education Software expertise: While Photoshop is the industry standard, may also use other editing software and plugins for specific tasks.
